The Unchained Retreat will be held April 12–17, 2027 at Reunion Wellness Resort, an oceanfront wellness resort in Playa Negra on Costa Rica's beautiful Pacific Coast.

Please book your flight into Liberia International Airport (LIR).

This is the airport where our private transportation will pick you up and bring you to Reunion Wellness Resort.

Yes!

Round-trip transportation between Liberia International Airport (LIR) and Reunion Wellness Resort is included in your retreat registration.

The drive is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

By August 15, 2026, all registered attendees will be invited into a private retreat Facebook group where we'll share important updates, answer questions, and help everyone prepare for Costa Rica.

We'll also send a shared flight spreadsheet where everyone can enter their arrival and departure information. Our goal is to coordinate airport transportation so your wait time at Liberia International Airport (LIR) is as short as possible.

If your flight arrives at a different time than the rest of the group, we'll still coordinate your transportation. However, for everyone's safety, we will not send anyone alone. Transportation will be scheduled with at least one other attendee whenever possible.

If you'd like to ride with a specific friend or group, we'll absolutely do our best to accommodate your request. Just keep in mind that you may have a longer wait at the airport depending on everyone's flight schedules.

A valid passport is required to enter Costa Rica.

Please make sure your passport will be valid for your trip before booking your flights.

April is typically warm, sunny, and beautiful.

Average temperatures range from the mid-70s to upper-80s°F (24–31°C).

Pack lightweight clothing, swimsuits, sandals, and plenty of sunscreen.

Costa Rica is on Central Standard Time (CST) year-round and does not observe Daylight Saving Time.

The resort is relaxed, comfortable, and casual.

The water at Reunion Wellness Resort is safe to drink, but bottled water is also available if you prefer.

Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase directly through the resort but are not included in your retreat registration.

Costa Rica's official currency is the Costa Rican Colón, but U.S. dollars are widely accepted.

Major credit cards are accepted throughout the resort.

Most major carriers offer international service in Costa Rica.

Costa Rica uses the same electrical outlets as the United States and Canada.

Yes.

Costa Rica is tropical, so we recommend bringing insect repellent for your comfort.

Absolutely.

We recommend reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.

If you'd like to extend your vacation, let us know and we'll connect you directly with the Reunion team to coordinate additional nights and transportation.

Any additional costs are your responsibility.

You're welcome to relax around the resort, enjoy the common areas, grab a meal, or unwind until your room is ready.

Absolutely!

Many attendees travel solo.

If you'd like your own room, simply book a Private Room Experience.

If you'd like a Shared Room, you must already have someone you've chosen to room with.

No.

We will not be pairing roommates.

If you choose a shared room, you are responsible for finding your own roommate.

Your roommate must complete their registration (either pay in full or enroll in the payment plan) within 7 days of your registration.

If they do not, your reservation may be canceled and your spot may be offered to someone on the waitlist.

You're welcome to explore during free time if you'd like, but we've planned an incredible week with plenty of opportunities to relax, connect, and enjoy everything Reunion has to offer.

Absolutely.

While we've planned amazing experiences throughout the week, there will also be plenty of time to relax by the pool, enjoy the beach, book a spa service, or simply recharge.

All retreat payments, including deposits and payment plan installments, are non-refundable.

Because all retreat payments are non-refundable, we strongly recommend purchasing your own travel insurance to protect your investment.

Travel insurance may provide coverage for certain unexpected events, such as illness, family emergencies, or travel delays, depending on the policy you choose. It is each attendee's responsibility to research and purchase any travel insurance they feel is appropriate.
